Project Scope:

The expansion of the maintenance building will provide permanent storage space for equipment and office space for employees. Work includes a 800 square foot addition.

Background:

Poston Park and the surrounding areas are experiencing significant growth and are the focus of many projects that will increase park visitation. The existing maintenance building is located near the soccer fields and is not large enough to store all the equipment and supplies needed to consistently maintain park amenities. With the increase in amenities, patron visits, and maintenance services, additional grounds-keeping equipment and full-time staff are necessary to ensure the park remains well-maintained and accessible during operating hours. This addition will allow staff to house the equipment needed on-site so that it is readily accessible.
