Project Scope:

The project includes expanding the existing rear lot to provide parking for overflow capacity. Out-buildings will be constructed to allow technicians to store parts and equipment. A complete renovation and expansion to the interior includes additional service bays for regular and large vehicles, upgraded service equipment, additional storage space, and offices.

Background:

Gaston County acquired 323 North Avon Street to be renovated and expanded as a new location for Fleet Services. Formerly located on Osceola Street, Fleet Services was unable to keep up with service demands due to limited space and aging equipment.
