Project Scope:

The project design includes external improvements such as an expansion to the existing rear lot providing more parking bays and overflow capacity. Additionally, construction of minor out-buildings allows technicians to store parts and equipment. The interior of the building received a complete renovation and expansion. This includes additional service bays for regular and large vehicles, upgraded service equipment, and additional storage space.

Background:

Gaston County has purchased land at 323 North Avon Street to be converted into the new home for Fleet Services. Formerly located on Osceola Street, Fleet Services was unable to keep up with demand at the prior location and was in need of both additional space and upgraded equipment to better service the County's vehicles quickly and efficiently.
