Project Scope:

The Gastonia Adult Daycare, now called The Center, is receiving a comprehensive ADA renovation. The renovation largely addresses issues with the exterior of the building, including addressing drainage problems, repairs to the sidewalk/patio, and adding handicap accessible parking. Interior renovations include repairs to the flooring, updates to the restroom to comply with ADA standards, and upgrades to the electrical system.

Background:

Originally occupying the space in 2004, the Gaston County Adult Daycare has been serving the community in the same location for over 20 years. This project was requested to address ADA compliance and standard maintenance for the building, allowing it to continue to serve the community effectively.
