Project Scope:

Using part of the Dallas Park Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) Grant, Gaston County is installing a new modular restroom building in Dallas Park to meet the needs of increased park use.

Background:

The need for an additional restroom is a direct result of an increase in park events, activities, and recreational amenities, leading to more park visitors. The location of the new restroom was identified in the Dallas Park Master Plan to serve the southern areas of the park. The restroom is made of modular concrete and will be installed near an existing parking lot and shelters 3 and 4. The building includes two men's restrooms, two women's restrooms and water fountain that are ADA accessible.
